All services, products and purchases with Skin Affair are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
Sales & Promotions
- Sales & promotions are available at all Skin Affair unless otherwise specified.
- Promotion or sales pricing is for the specified treatments only.
- Promotional or sales pricing cannot be applied to existing bookings.
- New bookings must be made and pre-paid* during the promotional/sales period.
*Full pre-payment or deposit required will vary based on promotion.
- Treatment packages are for a single person only and cannot be split or transferred.
- All sales/promotions are available for a limited time only and subject to availability.
- All sales/promotions are subject to our standard terms & conditions below.
- Skin Affair can terminate a promotion or sale at any time without notice.
- Skin Affair reserves the right to refuse treatment to the client if they believe that the treatment is not suitable.
Payment
- Fees are due and payable in full on the day of the procedure.
- For in clinic payments: Cash, eftpos and Zip pay are available.
- For online purchases: Paypal is available.
Pre-paid Treatments
- There is no refund on pre-paid treatments and they are not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or clinics.
- 48 hours’ notice is required for any pre-paid appointment cancellations. If you cancel a pre-paid appointment within 48 hours, or do not attend the appointment, the treatment will be forfeited and we reserve the right to charge a $50 late cancellation/non-attendance fee.
- Cancelling unused packages or treatment series will result in the used sessions being charged at full price. Credit notes can be provided at the
discretion of Skin Affair Australia. A $50 administration fee is applicable. Treatments/services are not transferable to other individuals or clinics.
Refunds will be provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law. Deposits paid for cosmetic injectable treatments are non-refundable.
- All pre-paid treatments are subject to an expiry period of up to a maximum of 24 months, depending on package quantity, after which treatments will expire if unused.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers purchased in-store are redeemable at the issuing Skin Affair Australia only.
- Gift vouchers purchased online are redeemable at any of the Skin Affair Aust locations. Once the Gift Vouchers has been used, any remaining
balance can only be used at the redeeming clinic.
- No change is given, however any unused value will be credited to your account.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Consultation
- Skin Affair offer in-depth consultations prior to treatment to deem suitability.
- Skin Affair reserves the right to refuse treatment to the client if they believe that the treatment is not suitable.
Bookings
- Bookings can be made by calling or texting your chosen Skin Affair.
- A reminder text message* will be sent 48 hours prior to your appointment asking for you to confirm your attendance.
*These are sent by a third party and are not guaranteed.
- Skin Affair may request photo identification prior to commencement of
treatment. Refusal to show identification may result in your booking being
cancelled and subject to cancellation & non-attendance terms &
conditions. If you are fraudulently attempting to use another individuals
account, law enforcement may be contacted.
Cancellations & Non-attendance
- New Clients should arrive 10 minutes ahead of schedule in order to complete
required customer forms.
- Skin Affair require at least 48 hours’ notice to be given for any appointment
cancellation. All appointments must be confirmed and/or cancelled by replying
Yes or No to the reminder text message or by calling or texting your booked
clinic.
- If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, or do not attend a booked
appointment, we reserve the right to charge a $50 late
cancellation/non-attendance fee, or 50% of the treatment cost depending on
treatment type, and treatment time.
- Clients who do not attend or who cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled
appointment time will forfeit their full booking deposit.
- Non attendance to a booked appointment will result in the session being
forfeited if the session is part of a treatment package. Where the appointment
is not part of a treatment package, a $50 no show fee or 50% of the treatment
cost, depending on treatment type will be applied to your account, which must
be paid in full before future appointments can be booked and will be determined
at the discretion of Skin Affair.
- Bookings may only be rescheduled a maximum of 3 times before incurring a $30
Admin Fee.
Refunds
- Skin Affair Australia have a ‘no refund’ policy.
- Skin Affair Australia do not refund for change of mind (no longer wish to
complete a treatment) or change of personal circumstances. No refunds will be
provided on completed services.
- Refunds will be provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Refunds granted for any reason may incur a $50 admin fee.
- Deposits paid for cosmetic injectable treatments are non-refundable.
Guarantees
- Due to the nature of the treatments offered by Skin Affair, individual
results may vary, as does the level of aftercare taken by clients. The outcome
of any procedure can be affected by this. Whilst every effort is taken to
provide guidelines and to ensure the best possible result, we unfortunately
cannot guarantee results from any treatment.
Treatment Reviews & Requests
- Skin Affair are only able to provide review on certain treatments and it is
at the discretion of Skin Affair. Skin Affair do not provide reviews on
cosmetic tattoo treatments.
- While we make every effort to accommodate requests for particular therapists
or rooms to complete treatments, we do not guarantee requested therapist or
room will be available to complete treatments and treatments are required to be
completed by the available room and therapist on duty.
- Refusal to complete a booked treatment based on the available room or
therapist will result in appointment being subject to our Cancellation and
Non-attendance terms and conditions.
Minors & Companions
- Unless arranged prior, companions or drivers are not permitted in the
treatment rooms during a consultation or procedure as it is distracting for
both you and your aesthetician. They will be asked to wait in the waiting area.
Treatments can last up to 2 hours and these requests are made so that you can
fully relax and enjoy your treatment, whilst your aesthetician gives you her
best and undivided attention.
Technical Faults
- Skin Affair always aim to provide you the highest level of service and
professionalism, however due to circumstances out of our control, there may be
occasions where equipment failure is unavoidable. In the event this occurs, it
is possible that scheduled appointments may be delayed, rescheduled or
cancelled with little notice.
- Skin Affair address any technical fault immediately. All equipment is
thoroughly tested before being signed off to commence treatments. Skin Affair
understand the inconvenience that may be experienced in the event of equipment
failure, and we will explore all possible options for your treatment before
requiring to rebook your appointment.
Valuables
- Your personal belongings are solely your responsibility. Skin Affair are not
liable for any lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced personal items while you are
attending our clinics.
These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and binding to
all past and present services, products and purchases with Skin Affair.
